Sandside Caravan Park
Park rules
A few simple rules keep Sandside quiet, safe and pleasant for everyone. Thank you for following them.
Arrival and pitches
- Please arrive and leave at the times agreed with the office.
- One caravan or motorhome per pitch, plus its awning.
- Keep your pitch clean and tidy. Sheds, fencing, decking or other structures need our written permission first.
Vehicles
- The speed limit on the park is 5mph. Watch out for children, dogs and walkers.
- Park only in your own space and keep roads and access routes clear. No driving or parking on the grass.
- No commercial vehicles are allowed on the park, unless it is a tradesperson's van working on the park.
Barbecues and fire safety
- No open fires, fire pits or chimineas.
- Gas or charcoal barbecues are allowed only if they are raised off the ground and never left unattended. Make sure they are fully out and cold before you put them away.
- Keep fire points and extinguishers clear and don't move them.
- Gas bottles must be stored upright, outside and away from heat. Appliances must be properly fitted and safety checked.
Noise and behaviour
- Please keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 8am.
- Be considerate to your neighbours. Anti-social behaviour, loud music and bad language won't be accepted.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Dogs
- Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Always clean up after your dog and use the bins provided.
- Dogs must not be left alone in caravans or tied up outside unattended.
Waste and water
- Use the bins and recycling points provided. Large items must be taken off site.
- Empty waste water and chemical toilets only at the disposal points.
- Please don't wash vehicles or caravans on your pitch.
Visitors
- Owners and pitch holders are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
Caravans and letting
- Static caravans are for holiday use only and can't be used as a permanent home.
- No subletting or letting of caravans or pitches without our written permission.
- Caravans must be kept in good condition and insured.
Safety on the shore
- Take care on the shore. The tides in Morecambe Bay come in very fast and there are quicksands.
- Never walk out onto the sands without a guide.
We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave the park if these rules are broken. If you have a problem or need help, please call the office on 01524 822311 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
These rules may change from time to time. Full terms are set out in owner and seasonal pitch agreements.
